VOLUNTEER
Pregnancy, Labor & Postpartum SupportOur support volunteers provide emotional, physical, and informational support to refugee women throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Volunteers can help with prenatal appointments, offer labor and birth support, and/or postpartum support.
They also assist refugee mothers in preparing for the arrival of their new baby. This could include things such as helping secure baby supplies and providing emotional and relational support during this transition into motherhood. Interested in becoming a support volunteer? Have more questions? |
Volunteer RequirementsEmail us today to find the best role for you at Embrace, and the specific requirements to get started. Most often, this simply includes a short application, reference check, and background check. You will then attend an orientation at the Embrace office to learn more about what you can expect to encounter in your particular role as a volunteer with Embrace.
